There hasn’t been a chocolate event this big in London since 2018.

There will be ticketed tastings, a short film, art, and tables to sit and savour delicious things both inside the main room and in the adjoining rooms at Big Penny Social.

You can also book a slot in Big Penny’s games room upstairs (darts! shuffle! karaoke! pool!) or enjoy a pizza or burger in their main hall or beer garden to get that savoury balance (no reservations required).

You’ll probably want to bring a tote bag to stock up on Christmas / Hanukkah / Diwali gifts, too.

11:10am - 11:55am

Salted Caramel Demonstration with Paul A Young - demonstration and Q&A plus a taste of the caramel and of the chocolate and his famous a salted caramel chocolate.

12:15pm - 1pm

A Taste of The Celebration with me - a bit like one of my tours you’ll get to taste a sampling of deliciousness from some of the bakeries and chocolatiers at the festival. I’ll talk you through them, chat about judging and answer your questions.

1:30pm - 2:15pm

A WILD Chocolate Tasting with Charlotte Flower - Charlotte will be sharing the single origin bars she uses to make her incredible chocolate bars with foraged ingredients - which you will also get to taste! She will also explain what she knows about the plants and answer your questions, too. Charlotte is an absolute font of knowledge!

2:45pm - 3:30pm

CHOCOLATE: an interactive tasting with me - a tasting of some of the chocolate makers of the show plus cacao juice and nibs, and a chat about how we taste chocolates for the different competitions I judge. I’ll also be able to answer any questions you might have

To celebrate 20 years of leading chocolate tours and tastings, I invited some of the people and businesses in the chocolate industry that are as committed to ethical, great tasting chocolate as I am.

What better way to celebrate than eat delicious things?

From Glasgow to Bristol to Brighton and beyond, we enjoyed bars, filled chocolates, baked goods, drinks, patisserie, ice cream and art from 25 different individuals and businesses.
